This sorbet was delicious! I didn't stir it enough, so it had a bunch of ice crystals, but it was still really good.

Hi :) I don't have an ice cream maker, but I do have a Vitamix - can I use that to fluff the sorbrt as instructed or is the consistency better used with stirring by hand?

HI Alysia. The vitamix may work. Typically I have found that it liquifies the mixture and goes from frozen to liquid, skipping the creamy stage. I have used the method of freezing the sweetened cantaloupe liquid in ice cube trays and then tossing several of the frozen cubes in a food processor and pulsing to soften. It works but you have to eat it immediately because it makes it a little soft. I bought my ice cream maker used for $10 and it is something I use very often. Maybe something to consider down the road : ) Lauren
