this recipe is really rich, so I suggest serving really small pieces, and never telling people how much butter went into making it!
But once you get past the calories, it is probably the most decadent dessert I have made.
just curious: did the pappadums burn in the oven? I ask as I heard in the video that you should be able to make them in the oven?
Hi Madoka!
Glad you enjoyed using Rouxbe. I am sure Lee would love the Lemon Potatoes as well...after all we know how much Lee likes his potatoes!

Great tip for us Vancouver folk!
Holding my fingers in, as shown in rouxbe.com/drilldowns/253 has probably saved many trips to the emergency ward
I know they are probably not the healthiest snack in the world, but if craving is for sweet, one way to stay away from candy for me, is to have 5 (yes I count) Montmorency dried tart cherries (I bought them at Costco)
I have had some of the most amazing meals in Paris in the tiny restaurants that are jam-packed with locals (no tourists, because they are the restaurants that are hard to find, and have barely any signage). This one restaurant was run by a couple and the kitchen was not separated by any walls from the rest of the place. So you could watch them lovingly make one meal after the next. They had no servers, in fact no other staff at all. So for once, the delay in getting something was part of the experience, and besides there was enough good conversation and wine to care.
The food was amazing, but again, there was enough wine to not remember the names of dishes--isn't that a good way to go? Die, enjoying your last minute on this planet with good people, intoxicated!

Hi Benjamin:
Creating an iPhone App or even making Rouxbe more mobile-friendly is definitely something we all want to do at Rouxbe. As you correctly mentioned, it is a fair amount of work and our team is currently focused on other web-centric features.
However stay tuned, and hopefully we will get to the mobile wishes a bit later as well.
Till then, you can follow us via Twitter (username: rouxbe), or also use our xml feeds to get pinged when we have new content.
