My wife and I live in coastal Florida,so fresh seafood is always available. We enjoy spending evenings in the kitchen preparing dinner; that time is as enjoyale as eating it. It is true that the journey is as important as the destination. Enjoy!

This was my first recipe I prepared from Rouxbe video.
Not only was the flavor just perfect,the video helped me NOT over cook the scallops.
Tonight I am trying the cashew chicken.

I made this recipe as close as possible as descibed. I did not have a food mill, so I used a a hand puree tool. This is a hearty sauce that has a depth of flavors.
I carried some for lunch the next day, and will serve it again over angel hair pasta.
Do this recipe; you won't regret it.

I tried to hold true to the recipe; I had trouble finding the cheese asked for in the recipe. I substituted a bree and gargonzola mixure that worked just fine. This recipe is soo good. I would not have known how to do this without the video.

I agree with Sherrie, this recipe was great. This is a vegetable that I would normally skip; I will prepare it more often.
Tonight we are making the Ancho braised beef ribs; in the process my wife came up with a great idea. I kept going back to my laptop to check the recipe. In doing so I kept wiping off the keyboard. She covered the keyboard with stretch wrap and I was set. Give it a try....
I will comment on the beef ribs later.
