I am a plain roast beef and potato cook. For years I cooked plain family meals, and having a husband who was better at cooking than me, and had the patience and feel for it, I didn't really get into cooking as he didn't mind it. He subsequently prepared the meals, and I am his tester! Good deal. My interest is in gardening where I can spend 5 hours or more puttering, as well as growing his herbs. The group of ladies in my monthly lunch group are wonderful cooks, and we take turns at appetizers, salads, main courses and desserts. Well for our December lunch I thought I should be a good participant and bring a main dish - but what!!! Oh my, the idea of making whatever was a hassle in itself. Well I pulled up Rouxbe and there was the wonderful recipe for Chicken Saltinbocca! Dawn was wonderful in telling me how to prepare things. such as how to slice the chicken etc. My husband was quite impressed with the final dish, and even he learned a few things in the preparations. It was such a hit and so good! Now having done it once, will make it so much easier to do it again. Thank you Rouxbe!
