About Aaron

Member since Feb 21, 2008

I'm currently a student at the University Of Mary Washington in beautiful Fredericksburg, Virginia. I'm basically a clueless cooking hobbyist, but I'm learning slowly but surely. Most of my kitchen adventures are exercises in thumb-fingered fumbling with ingredients and kitchen implements, but through divine providence or dumb luck I manage to put some nice dishes together.

Wine?

What's a good wine to use for braising? Would a Madeira be too much?

Thanks, Patrick!

Everything turned out great, I wound up using a Chianti and the sauce tasted marvelous. This is a great, easy entree for a lazy Sunday dinner.
