Wine with Portugese Lamb in Red Wine?

I am so not a wine person. I'm curious if I could serve wine with a dish that is made mostly with red wine. Any suggestions?

Wine would be the best

compliment to this dish! and it would be best if it was a medium to full bodied red. Please see the comments that are with the recipe for further wine advise.

Dolium Malbec

Or muga reserva, it will stand up to the gaminess of lamb.wild horse pinot noir is another good one.
